Mars Volta Poster

This vector art poster was inspired by the Mars Volta's music and based on album art created for "Deloused in the Comatorium" by Storm Thorgeson (A man's profile floats on the ocean, and underneath the water, long jellyfish tentacles hang down). The girl's face is from a model drawn during a figure drawing class. I ran out of time before finishing the back of her head, and I always felt like something should be exploding out of the empty space.
